40 years ago, Annemarie Colbin, PhD, started Natural Gourmet Institute, a cooking school dedicated to teaching people how to prepare whole, natural foods in order to lead more healthful lives. Today, we continue to teach her Seven Principles of Food Selection: that foods should be seasonal, local, whole, traditional, balanced, fresh, and delicious. From Dr. Colbin’s first class to our current roster of students, we’re still inspiring people to change the way they eat, their attitudes towards food and health, their careers, and ultimately, their lives.
