Recreational classes, certificate programs, and Friday Night Dinners will continue through March 2019 at NGI’s Flatiron location. We have a lot of exciting programs scheduled, which are sure to sell out! We look forward to having the NGI community be a part of the final programs on 21st Street.

Chef Jay Astafa got his start in the restaurant industry at the early age of 16 when he developed a vegan menu for his father’s traditional pizza restaurant on Long Island. He enrolled in our Chef’s Training Program in 2011 and has kept busy ever since. Chef Jay is currently one of the most renowned vegan chefs in the industry, running a NYC-based boutique catering service, a pop-up dinner series, and as of a few weeks ago, Long Island’s first all-vegan restaurant, 3 Brothers Vegan Cafe. Check out these recent features about our talented grad!
