Chances are you’ve heard about dozens of detoxification methods. In this class, cleanse expert Megan Huylo will discuss the body’s natural detox systems (lymphatic, kidneys, skin, etc.) and the ways in which you can support them through proper food combining and preparation. Different foods are acid or alkaline forming, cooking some foods enhances the absorption of nutrients, and some herbs and spices can stimulate digestion – all contributing to efficient detoxification. You will learn how to plan and execute your very own cleanses using nourishing seasonal produce, superfoods, and even eggs – detox does not have to be vegan.
