Fresh warm bread is always a great way to start the day, add to a meal or have as a quick snack. Suitable for breakfast, snacking, topping, or a side dish, quick breads deliver a lot of flavor and light, airy texture. What if you have an intolerance to gluten? Learn how to create wheat free flour blends to make satisfying, fluffy and yes, gluten-free savory and sweet quick breads that deliver everything we love about their conventional, wheat-based counterparts. Once you try these gluten-free beauties, they’ll become requested favorites by your family and friends.

Each class is built upon techniques, with multiple recipes covering the various techniques. Although students will not have hands on experience with each recipe, they will learn techniques for each and be able to taste all completed dishes at the end of the class. All students will leave with a complete recipe packet at the end of the class.

Similar to a concert or sporting event, a​ll NGI programs are date-specific​. Therefore, all single-session classes, multi-day programs, and dinners are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled to a later date. If you are unable to attend a class or dinner, you are welcome to send someone in your place.

Please email if you are cancelling your registration or transferring your spot to another person. Students who cannot attend a class are eligible to receive the recipes and materials covered in class.

About the Instructor

Cheryl Perry is trained chef and graduate of the Natural Gourmet Institute. She has over 20 years experience working in New York City as a culinary instructor, business owner, and food service consultant. She is the co-creator of Pie Corps, a savory and sweet pie company that features the use of high-quality, fresh, whole ingredients.
