You’ll learn how to use compelling and evocative language to convey your passion in a way that resonates with readers and shows your unique view and voice. Through a combination of exercises, lecture and discussion, you will get an understanding of some of the basic skills you need and you will learn how to build and use your writing muscles. We’ll explore the different kinds of food writing—from recipe development to memoirs to blogs and magazine articles—and learn what it takes and how to approach writing for each of these venues. Finally, we’ll explore how to fit your interests to specific writing opportunities.
