Join us as we continue to revolutionize the way people think about health-supportive ingredients by introducing a new concept just in time for our 40th anniversary – Shrub @ NGI. Shrub is an elevated way to socialize, a healthier way to Happy Hour where guests unwind with nonalcoholic cordials, tinctures and elixirs. During a 1 1/2-hour session, you will learn recipes and techniques for making your own, festive beverages; snack on delicious, plant-based hors d’oeuvres; and mingle to swanky playlists. Come to Shrub after a long day, and we’ll send you on your way with the energy to tackle your evening workout or dinner prep, and face the coming day with newfound vitality.
Olivia Roszkowski, a 2010 graduate of the Natural Gourmet Institute’s Chef Training Program, also holds a Bachelors Degree from Columbia University in Neuroscience and Behavior. As a pre-medical student and certified EMT, she completed internships at Bellevue, Columbia Presbyterian, and Hospital for Special Surgery. Olivia has cooked at well-known New York restaurants including Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s (The) Mercer Kitchen, David Chang’s Momofuku Ssam Bar, and Danny Meyer’s Union Square Events.
