Recreational classes, certificate programs, and Friday Night Dinners will continue through March 2019 at NGI’s Flatiron location. We have a lot of exciting programs scheduled, which are sure to sell out! We look forward to having the NGI community be a part of the final programs on 21st Street.


Annemarie Colbin

Annemarie Colbin, Ph.D was a health food visionary, touting whole grains and leafy greens long before they hit the mainstream. Among her many accomplishments, Dr. Colbin founded Natural Gourmet Institute and authored many books including: The Book of Whole Meals, Food and Healing, The Natural Gourmet, and The Whole Food Guide to Strong Bones. Dr. Colbin passed away on April 10, 2015.

Jonathan Cetnarski is a transformational executive who aims to redefine the culinary school experience for the 21st century. He is passionate about ensuring food security for a growing global population, and advocates for the return of traditional foodways, sustainable farming practices, and humane treatment of animals and food producers. Jonathan is committed to providing all students with an optimal learning experience and helping them enter the food industry with NGI’s high standard of health-focused cooking at the core of their culinary perspectives.
