Annemarie Colbin, Ph.D was a health food visionary, touting whole grains and leafy greens long before they hit the mainstream. Among her many accomplishments, Dr. Colbin founded Natural Gourmet Institute and authored many books including: The Book of Whole Meals, Food and Healing, The Natural Gourmet, and The Whole Food Guide to Strong Bones. Dr. Colbin passed away on April 10, 2015.
